What is your return
policy?
You have up to 15 days after the ship date to initiate your
return. Your items must reach us within 30 days from ship
date. Items received after 30 days will not be accepted for
return. We will ship late items back to you.
When we receive your items, we will refund your order amount
minus PayPal transaction fees and the original shipping charges.
In addition, all returns are subject to a 15% restocking fee.
To qualify for a refund, ALL items must be returned in their
original unused condition, including the original packaging,
manufacturer's containers, documentation, and all accessories.
We will not accept returns if packaging is not in its original
condition - we will return such items to you. If you reject
that return shipment, Pro-Fit reserves the right to liquidate
the inventory and withhold credit. All costs related to return
shipping must be paid by the customer.
How do I initiate
a return?
It's easy to initiate a return. Simply contact us at info@fueldoors.com
stating what you are returning and the reason for the return.
We will reply with further instructions.
How do I return my
custom fuel door?
Custom fuel door orders are non-refundable! Please be absolutely
sure about your custom fuel door order before completing your
purchase!
A custom fuel door is defined as any fuel door with one or
more of the following:
- One or more FINISH selections (including, but not limited
to Anthrocite, Polished, Primered, Powdercoated, and/or
Painted)
- One or more SPECIAL ORDER selections (including, but not
limited to No Latch Cap, Custom Engraving, Tamper-Proof
Bolts, Cap Bolts, Alternate Bolt Pattern, Polished Linear
Mechanism, and/or Combination Finish)
- A GT40-style fuel door
- A DDC-style fuel door
Changes to a custom fuel door order are possible depending
on the manufacturing stage of your fuel door. If you want
a change, contact us ASAP, but be aware that your change request
may not be possible if your fuel door is too far along in
the manufacturing/assembly process.
Which products
qualify for returns?
Any product except custom fuel doors as defined above.
Occasionally an item will be damaged during shipment. If
you notice any damage to the box or item, note the damage
in detail on the receipt and do not accept delivery of the
package.
It is important that you do not accept or sign for a damaged
package. Contact Pro-Fit immediately. We will send you a replacement
item or credit your account upon receipt of the item at our
warehouse.
Are there any restocking
fees?
All returns are subject to a 15% restocking fee per item.
What if I paid for
my order through PayPal?
We will send the refund money back to your PayPal account
under the email address that you used to make the purchase.
How long does it take
for my account to be credited?
Our warehouse and accounting staff work hard to process returns
as quickly as possible. Processing returns can be complicated.
Please allow 10 to 14 days after we receive the items to process
your credit.
How long do I have

At Pro-Fit, we try hard to serve our customers better than
anyone else. We wish we could accept all returns without any
questions or limitations, but that is just not possible. Thank
